When the days get shorter and the nights cooler, one of the most beautiful times of the year begins in Palma: the festive season with its Christmas lights. As soon as the lights are switched on, the city is transformed into an enchanting sea of lights that not only illuminates the streets but also warms the hearts of residents and visitors alike.

A spark of hope in a contemplative time
Illuminated highlights of the city
The Christmas lights on Rathausplatz, Rambla and Paseo Born are particularly impressive. Trees and facades are decorated with glittering lights, and thousands of lights also shine on Plaça Major, Palma's lively central square. This is where families and friends meet to enjoy the festive atmosphere and browse the small stalls for the perfect figures for their nativity scenes.
The different districts have their own surprises in store: from traditional Christmas markets to artistically designed light installations, there is something for everyone.
